The Catron County Commission has, by County Resolution, authorized the investigation and development of ways and means to develop a Northern Catron County Research and Industrial Park ("NCCRIP"), including but not limited to the following objectives:
  a. Research the feasibility of developing a research and industrial park;
  b. Identify the most suitable location and plan for the park;
  c. Identify potential partners and anchor business tenants for the park;
  d. Identify potential funding sources for development and creation of the park;
  e. Create a draft plan of action and budget for developing a research and industrial park.

The Northern Catron County Research and Industrial Park will be devoted to multiple uses, including educational and research facilities, manufacturing plants, professional offices and commercial businesses.

All multiple uses will be based on renewable and sustainable natural resources, with a special emphasis on renewable energy, and all multiple uses will protect and uphold the custom and culture of Catron County.
